Detwinner is fast and efficient duplicate file finder.

Features

Flexible search options. Specify what files should be included during search: use file masks, dates and attributes to define this. By setting these options you non only filter up unneeded results, but also increase search speed dramatically

Specific folders protection. Review the list of protected folders before each search to avoid scanning system or backup folders.

Search presets. It is possible to save your customization of search options as a preset and use it later. Furthermore, some presets with widely used search options (for searching duplicates among audio, video, image files, photos and documents) will be initially installed. And yes, they also can be customized.

Duplicate files preview. Preview image and text files directly in the program, or open them in external viewer right from the duplicate file list.

Smart selection. After finding duplicate files you should select ones that should be deleted. Smart selection feature allows selecting files by modified date, position in duplicate group, by lengths of file name or file path. Selection rules can be applied for a single duplicates group or for all found files. Individual files selection is another option.

Regular expressions selection. If you are advanced user, you may want to select duplicate files for deletion with name or path that match sophisticated regexp rules that you can create and manage with ease.

Safe deletion. You can delete selected files to backup folder or recycle bin. Or use permanent deletion in case if you are absolutely sure that this will not harm you system.

Similar images search. While not being exact duplicates, similar images still can bring many inconveniences. Now you can search for similar images, specify the needed level of their similarity and compare them in the preview pane before deleting.
